Career

Copeland was natural within Alexandria, Egypt, the youngest of four toddlers. His father was Miles Axe Copeland, Jr., a CIA agent and for many years the bureau chief in Beirut, Lebanon. Copeland spent his formative years in the Middle East, attending high school at a Western Community School around Beirut, in which he played drums at school dances. Copeland attended college within California and came to England in 1975, playing drums for the art rock band Curved Air.

Drumming

Copel& is known for the blend of exact, up-and-coming, and originative rock drumming along by using the reggae-influenced style (back beat with bass drum, instead of snare drum). Later career
